All applications include entry into the 2025 Radda Rise International String Competition, a Radda Video Review, optional resubmission before the final deadline, a private 1‑hour mentorship session with the director, and a custom biography in English or revisions of your current English biography.

Applicants must submit two contrasting solo works (accompanied or unaccompanied). The pieces may contrast in tempo, style, or musical era, and movements are allowed.

Both works must be performed from memory.

Recommended total time limits for the two pieces are:

• Category 1: Up to 7 minutes

• Category 2: Up to 12 minutes

• Category 3: Up to 15 minutes

• Category 4: Up to 20 minutes

Longer submissions are allowed, but jurors may not listen past these suggested limits.

• Category 1: Up to 9 years old - $95

• Category 2: Between 10–13 years old - $110

• Category 3: Between 14–17 years old - $125

• Category 4: Between 18–34 years old - $155

No, you don't need to have your media ready to upload in order to submit your written application. You have the option of uploading your recordings, scores, and photograph either now or later.

If you choose to upload your media now, you will be able to do so directly within the application. Simply follow the instructions and upload your files in the designated fields.

If you prefer to upload your media later, we will send you a private folder where you can upload your materials at a later time. You will receive an email with instructions and a link to the private folder once your written application has been submitted.
