Biography
Elizabeth Park was born in July 2016 and began her violin studies at the age of six. She has been studying under the guidance of Ms. Colleen Wang for the past three years. She was inspired to start playing the violin after hearing the beauty of its music. Some of her favorite pieces are V. Monti's Czardas and P. Sarasate's Carmen Fantasy, Op. 25.
She enjoys learning new repertoire and developing her skills as a young musician. Currently, she is working on Vivaldi's Concerto in A minor, third movement, and she particularly enjoys playing fast-paced rhythms. To broaden her musical experience, she joined the DSO Civic Youth Ensemble, where she regularly performs concerts under the direction of Danny DeRose.
Outside of music, Elizabeth enjoys reading and figure skating. She is a member of the synchronized skating team, the Hockettes, in Ann Arbor.
