As 2020 comes to a close, we’re excited to share some highlights that have happened with Radda over the past year. Despite the challenges everyone has faced this year, we couldn’t be more thrilled about our growing community and platform so thank you for being a part of it! As we enter the new year, we wish you a prosperous and happy 2021 filled with learning and constant improvement. Happy practicing, and we can’t wait to continue supporting your rise as a musician!

Radda Rise International Piano Competition

In June, the first Radda Rise International Piano Competition was launched with applicants representing 11 different countries around the world. We wanted to create a unique competition experience that challenges the cutthroat mindset fostered within most other competitions. Rather than solely focusing on prizes for the winners, we were passionate about providing educational opportunities through which all competitors can enhance their musical careers such as in-depth video feedback from Radda experts prior to the judging round, the option to resubmit refined recordings for the judges after learning from their feedback, detailed written comments from each judge, post-competition live chats with the judges, and opportunities for ongoing mentorship. Through this competition, everyone could rise as a musician. The judges and experts were incredibly impressed with each performance so congratulations to all the pianists who applied!

Current Violin Events

Following the excitement of our first competition, we recently launched the Radda Rise International Violin Competition along with the Virtual Violin Lecture Series. Our goal is the same as before with providing an immersive learning experience to help violinists become the musicians they’re destined to be. Every applicant has the same opportunities as the piano competition along with engaging livestreamed lectures covering topics such as auditions, recording, career paths, social media and online presence, and many others. Our featured violinists in both events have varying areas of expertise and backgrounds at top music programs such as the Juilliard School, Manhattan School of Music, and New England Conversatory. The competition is still open for applications for youth violinists 18 years old and under so check out the application and apply.

New Members’ Area - One-Time Registration for a Limited Time

If you didn’t get a chance to register for the livestreamed violin lecture series, you can still get access to all the recordings by joining our new Members’ Area where we’ll regularly be releasing exclusive lectures, masterclasses, courses, and more. Right now, anyone can sign up for a one time registration fee of $35 before we switch to a monthly subscription. Be sure to check this out because more content for all instruments and levels will be coming soon!
