Eclectic and versatile London based composer for film, television, and media, Adriano Aponte grew up in Naples (Italy) and has been always fascinated by the craft of film scoring and its tradition. After his studies in piano and composition in Italy - where he also had the opportunity to study under acclaimed multi David di Donatello Awards recipient, composer and conductor M°Franco Piersanti at the Philharmonic Academy of Rome - Adriano moved to the U.S. and then Spain to hone his musical skills. Awarded with the European scholarship, Aponte studied Film Scoring and Conducting at Berklee College of Music in Boston and then received his Master's degree in Scoring for Film, Television and Video Games - Summa Cum Laude - from Berklee Valencia Campus where he also worked as Music Technology Graduate Assistant.

Most recent projects where Adriano is involved as a composer include the music for the 2019 TV series "Nuovi Eroi", broadcasted by Rai3 (Italian national channel) in Prime Time for one month. He wrote the soundtrack for the David di Donatello (Italian Academy Awards - official selection) short film ' Lettere a mia figlia (Sad Letters)' - starring famous Italian actor Leo Gullotta; and the soundtrack for the feature film 'Le verità (The Truth)' with score recorded at Magyar Studio 22 in Budapest, performed by the Budapest Scoring Symphonic Orchestra. Adriano recently scored the animated short movie ' Boarding the Ark ' with music recorded at legendary Abbey Road Studios in London, conducting members of the London Symphony Orchestra.

Soon active in the advertising industry he composed the track "Little Purple Bubbles" for the Vimto's quirky national multi-channel UK TV (All4, ITV2 and more) campaign. The advertising debuted on national TV during "Love Island" show on 4 June 2018. Recently Adriano pitched music for The Pokémon Company, Nestlé, L'Oreal, Nissan, Lord Mobile, Healthy Options and Nurofen.

Aponte's winning streak began when his album, ' Inside ' won the ' Acoustic Album of the Year ' at the '19th Los Angeles Music Awards', at Avalon Theatre in Hollywood, California. The impact of Aponte's talent was felt again at the '20th Los Angeles Music Awards' where he received the 'Instrumental Artist of the Year' award and got the nomination for the "International Artist of the Year" category. The event was held at Paramount Theatre in Hollywood, California, where Adriano also performed a solo piano - film music concert. The composer brought his music several times at the Italian Cultural Institute of Los Angeles and in particular to celebrate the 150° Anniversary of the Unification of Italy, the 60° Anniversary of volunteer service for the Los Angeles Philharmonic Orchestra Association, and to welcome the Hon. Consul General of Italy Giuseppe Perrone as well as all Consular Corps. Members in Los Angeles. According to the Event Chair Mirella Ventress and President Kay Sidhu, "Adriano Aponte was certainly the best and ideal ambassador of music that Italy can provide...". In May 2018, the multi-award-winning short movie "Lettere a mia figlia" was screened at the European Parliament in Brussels, where Adriano and part of the cast were hosted and rewarded by the European parliamentarians panel. Among other honours, he received the nomination for "Best Soundtrack" at the '2012 48 hour Film Project' - music composed for the short film 'We have all night ', and in 2014 his jazz song ' Last Indian' was a finalist at the 'UK Songwriting Contest'.

Adriano also holds a Bachelor's and a Master's degree in Law, but that's another story...
