Jade Rojas, currently a freshman at Florida Gulf Coast University, has a diverse musical background from her high school years, participating in Jazz Band, Symphonic Band, Percussion, Marching Band, Advanced Women's Choir, Mixed Choir, and Treble Choir. While proficient in instruments like the trombone, synthesizer, piano, and bass drum, her true passion is classical singing. Jade's dedication to vocal music was evident from the age of 10 when she began private voice lessons. This early start laid the foundation for her future successes and opportunities. She has since flourished in opera productions such as "Carmen," "La Traviata," "La Boheme," “Romeo and Juliet,” and "Tosca" with Opera Naples and GulfShore Opera. Her talent in opera extended to lead roles, notably playing Penny in the Sarasota Opera youth production of "The Secret World of Og" in 2022, Cousin Hebe in Opera Naples' youth production of "H.M.S Pinafore" in 2022, and Phyllis in their youth production of “Iolanthe” in 2023.

Jade's commitment to honing her craft led her to attend prestigious summer camps such as Interlochen, ArtsBridge, and Boston University Tanglewood Institute. She has also been active in local and international voice competitions, earning numerous awards and scholarships. She won First Prize in Grand Prize Virtuoso International Competition and had the opportunity to showcase her talent internationally at their winner’s recital with a solo performance at Le Petit Palau, Palau de La Musica Catalana in Barcelona in the summer of 2023. She also won First Prize in American Protege International Competition and is scheduled to perform a solo at Carnegie Hall in the spring of 2024 as part of their winner's recital.

Currently, Jade is pursuing a major in vocal performance with aspirations of traveling the world as an ambassador for opera. She enjoys learning the Bel Canto style and she hopes to perform as Mimi from La Boheme, as Violetta from La Traviata and as Zerlina from Don Geovanni. She aspires to perform in world renowned venues such as the Metropolitan Opera House in USA and La Scala in Italy.
