Yutong Gu is an undergraduate student in the Department of Music Drama at the Shanghai Conservatory of Music (Class of 2022), studying under the guidance of Xiaodan Liu. He began performing at a young age and has appeared on several major Chinese television programs, including Chinese New Voice Season 3 (2015) and Childlike Heart Premiere (2016) on Golden Eagle Cartoon via Hunan Satellite TV, as well as Singing Good Children's Songs (2016) on Jiangsu Satellite TV and Childlike Heart Hits the Earth (2017) on Hunan Satellite TV.
As a student at the conservatory, Yutong has performed in significant institutional events, including the 95th Anniversary Celebration of the Shanghai Conservatory of Music and the 20th Anniversary Celebration of the Department of Music Drama at Heluting Concert Hall in 2022. Most recently, in July 2023, he participated in the Beijing tour of the original musical Loyalty, produced by the Shanghai Conservatory of Music.
