Madeline Diaz

Madeline Diaz is a dedicated vocalist pursuing a degree in Music Education with a Performance Certificate at the University of Miami’s Frost School of Music. Her vocal training has been shaped by esteemed mentors including Tannia Laurecente (board member of the Miami Youth Orchestra and Choir Foundation), Matthew DiBattista (former Boston University professor and professional classical tenor), and currently Jeanette Thompson, vocal professor at the Frost School.

Madeline has participated in several prestigious summer programs, including the Interlochen Arts Camp (2021), Boston University Tanglewood Institute (2022), and NYU’s Classical Voice Intensive (2023).

Her performance experience spans both operatic and musical theater repertoire. In opera scenes, she has portrayed Greta Fiorentino in Street Scene and Tatyana in Eugene Onegin. In full musical theater productions, she has played the Baker’s Wife in Into the Woods, Consuelo in West Side Story, and a Delta Nu chorus member in Legally Blonde.

Madeline has also performed the national anthem at high-profile venues such as Marlins Stadium, the University of Miami baseball stadium, and at various local fundraisers and sporting events throughout Miami.

In addition to her performance work, Madeline is passionate about music education and aims to inspire others through teaching and artistic expression.
