Hannah Messineo, a 15-year-old vocal talent from Meridian, Idaho, has already made significant strides in the world of music. After her father recognized her potential and encouraged her to pursue lessons, her journey and passion for vocal performance began at the age of 11 in San Jose, California, under the guidance of Thomas Truhitte.

Hannah's talent has been recognized through numerous accolades in prestigious competitions. In 2021, she won First Place at the Little Mozarts International Competition and secured Second Place in both the Opera Aria and Classical Repertoire categories at the American Protégé International Vocal Competition. The following year, she claimed the Grand Prize at the International Rising Talents Festival, leading to a performance at Victor Borge Hall in New York.

In 2023, Hannah received Honorable Mention at the International Grande Music Competition and performed at Merkin Hall in New York. She continued her success at the American Protégé International Vocal Competition, earning Third Place in the Opera Aria category and Second Place in the Classical Repertoire category. This achievement has earned her the opportunity to perform at the renowned Carnegie Hall in June 2024.

In addition to these accomplishments, Hannah won the Gold Prize in both the Musical Theatre/Opera and Young Artist categories at the 2023 Saint Saint-Saëns International Music Competition, where she also received an Excellent Musicianship Special Award. Her success continued at the 2023 London Young Musician International Music Competition, where she was awarded the Gold Prize in the Young Artist category. Furthermore, she received Third Prize in the 2023 World’s Best Musicians International Competition and First Prize in the International 2023 Youth Music Competitions, Classical Solo Division.

In 2024, she earned Silver Prize in both the Opera and Junior Artist categories and Bronze Prize in the Mozart category at the Classical Stars International Music Competition. Soon after, she received Second Place in the Charleston International Music Competition.

Hannah is an active member of multiple choir groups, including her high school choir, Millennial Choirs and Orchestras, and Opera Idaho Children’s Choruses. Additionally, she has been a soloist at district festivals and performed for three years at Boise Music Week. Her rendition of the national anthem has graced multiple basketball games. Currently, she is involved in Opera Idaho's production of "Robin Hood," playing the role of Scarlett. Hannah also contributes to her community by holding recitals at local elderly homes.

Outside of her singing career, Hannah enjoys drawing, reading, and traveling. She has a particular fondness for Hawaii and New York, two of her favorite destinations. Additionally, Hannah is bilingual, fluent in both English and Japanese, and cherishes her visits to Japan. Her travels have given her a unique perspective on the diversity and beauty of different cultures, which carries over to her music.

As she looks toward the future, Hannah aspires to major in Voice at a conservatory, aiming to become a professional singer.
