Alexander Tomov was born in 2002 in Sofia. He started studying piano at the age of 7 with a private pedagogue. Since 2013m he has been a student at NMU, L. Pipkov in the class of Ani Todorova. He is the winner of the II prize from the competition "Orpheus' gift" - 2013. In 2019 he won the first prize and the special prize of the jury from the XIV International competition for young performers of classical musical instruments - Pernik. He is also the winner of many awards from the solfeggio competition "Prof. Kamen Popdimitrov ’’. In 2018 he won the third prize in a competition in the history of music and theory of musical elements, which brought him a scholarship from the Ministry of Culture. He takes part in the master classes of prominent professors such as Lyudmil Angelov, Paskal Nemirovski, Alexander Hinchev, Ivo Kalchev, Aglika Genova and Lyuben Dimitrov, Sergei Redkin and others.
