Vera Yang started playing the piano at the age of five. She has won many awards, including gold prize in the MTAC scholarship competition, the Great Composers Competition Music of Austria, and the Pelican International Piano competition. She has been a silver medalist in the Paderewski International Piano Competition and the Northern Lights Piano Festival. She currently studies piano under Teacher Yuhui at Opus119 School of Music.
