Tian Xin

Tian Xin is a dynamic musical theatre performer currently studying at the Shanghai Conservatory of Music, where she was admitted with the third-highest national ranking. She studies musical vocal performance under Teacher Liu Xiaodan and is also trained in Chinese dance, jazz, and musical theatre dance.

Tian’s performance experience spans a wide range of productions. She has played leading roles in numerous musicals, including The Flowers of War (as Meng Shujuan), The Long Night (as Wu Aike), Centennial Gaoqiao (as Li Li), Gift of the Earth (as Xiangling), Only Acacia Remains (as Alice), and Wonderful Journey to Binfen Town (as Zhao Yiman). She also starred in Uninhabited Island (as Xiaoya), an original musical produced by the Huangpu Culture and Tourism Group, which was invited to perform at the International Art Festival.

In addition to her stage work, Tian has appeared in immersive and dramatic productions such as Who Moved My Gift, Balcony, and the Shanghai Jing’an District Ideological and Political Drama. She has contributed to numerous special events, including the Shanghai Sports Meeting, Guangming Brand Peak Night Musical, the International Youth Innovation Competition, and the National Day Art Show hosted by the Huangpu District Overseas Chinese Federation. She also performed the theme song for King of Glory (Wang Zhaojun).

Tian’s achievements have earned her significant recognition. She was awarded the Gold Award in the National Youth Vocal Competition of the Central Conservatory of Music and has received numerous gold, silver, bronze, and excellence awards in vocal and dance competitions across Shanghai. She is a recipient of the Professional Scholarship at the Shanghai Conservatory of Music and has been a finalist in both The Voice of China and New Voice Please Teach Shanghai divisions. She has also participated in the Korea-China International Vocal Competition and the KJC Asian International Music Festival.

In 2023, Tian was featured in the Second Shanghai Conservatory of Music International Musical Festival and participated in the “Monthly Choir Rehearsal” workshop for the original musical The Long Night, led by Zhang Bo and Qin Huanjing.

Beyond her vocal pursuits, Tian enjoys playing the piano and ukulele, photography, and painting.
