Rachael Davis is a versatile soprano based in Carmichael, California, known for her expressive voice and eclectic musical background. A lifelong performer, Rachael began singing publicly at the age of three and has pursued classical vocal studies for over 14 years. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Music from California State University, Sacramento, and has studied privately for the past decade with soprano Carrie Hennessey.
Rachael’s performance experience spans classical, musical theatre, and contemporary repertoire. In October 2025, she will make her solo debut with the Sacramento Choral Society and Orchestra in Vivaldi’s Gloria. Rachael recently won first place at the 2025 NATS San Francisco Bay Area Chapter Musical Theatre and Contemporary Music Auditions and Singing Festival. She was also awarded the Edwin Barlow Post Collegiate Award at the 2023 NATS San Francisco Bay Area Chapter Spring Classical Student Auditions and Singing Festival. Additionally, she was named a semi-finalist in the 2023 Classical Singer Magazine Vocal Competition in the Classical Young Artist/Emerging Professional division. Her recent engagements include performing as a soprano soloist in Handel’s Eternal Source of Light Divine with the Apollo Orchestra and Chorus.
Rachael has participated in masterclasses with renowned artists, including a session with soprano Deborah Voigt at the Classical Singer Convention, where she performed Arditi’s Il Bacio. She has also studied a broad range of vocal repertoire, with a particular love for the music of Bellini, whose lyrical style and emotional depth resonate deeply with her.
Balancing a full life beyond music, Rachael is a devoted mother of three young children, a clean beauty entrepreneur, and a passionate advocate for wellness and non-toxic living. She finds joy in baking, spending time outdoors with her family, and pursuing a lifestyle rooted in health and personal growth. Through it all, music remains her deepest passion and a source of connection, creativity, and self-expression.
