Faith Eugenia Scott

Faith Eugenia Villar-Córdova Scott began her piano studies at age of 4. At the age of 5, she won her first International Piano Competition. Since then, she has received First Prizes at many national and international piano competitions which include the Central Iowa Symphony Concerto Competition (2025) performing under the baton of Maestro Eric McIntyre, Clara Schumann International Music Competition (2024), Fanny Mendelssohn International Music Competition (2024), Franz Liszt Center International Piano Competition (2024), The Royal International Piano Competition (2023), the Florida Young Artists International Piano Competition (2021, 2023), and the Carmel Klavier International Piano Competition (2022 & 2024) among others. In August 2024 she was named a winner of the Bill Riley Talent Search Sprout Division, and her performance was broadcast on Iowa PBS.

Ms. Scott has received scholarships to attend both the Palmetto International Piano Festival (2023) and the Sewanee Music Festival (2024) as the youngest participant. In August 2023 at the age of 7, she made her debut with orchestra playing a complete Haydn Concerto in C Major in Miami, Florida. In November of 2024, she returned to perform the Mozart Concerto No. 8 in C Major K. 246. Both performances were under the baton of Maestro Alberto Bade.

Ms. Scott made her debut in Carnegie Hall’s Weill Recital Hall in December of 2023 performing works by Bach, Dussek and Persichetti. Faith also studies the violin with Prof. Monica Lugo and Cello with Prof. Michele Senger. She continues her piano studies with Dr. Marion and Rosa Scott and performs regularly at student recitals and community concerts.
