Oriana Wojciechowska

Grand Prize Winner of Category 2

 

13-year-old Polish violinist Oriana Wojciechowska began playing the violin at the age of 6, and she currently studies with Malgorzata Skorupa at the General Education Music School in Gdansk, Poland.

Since her big stage debut in 2019, Oriana regularly performs as a soloist, chamber musician, and orchestra member. She has had the opportunity to work with renowned conductors including Dawid Jarząb (Poland), Maksym Dondalski (Poland), and Massimiliano Caldi (Italy). She has also performed in several masterclasses throughout Europe led by internationally acclaimed violinists such as Janusz Warowski, Agata Szymczewska, Piotr Tarcholik, Wiesław Kwaśny, Krystyna Jurecka, Walentyna Jakubowska, Agnieszka Marucha, Dorota Sosnowska, and Dariusz Smolarski.

Oriana has won over 24 prizes in national and international competitions. Some of her most recent accomplishments include 1st Prize and a performance at Carnegie Hall in the American Protégé International Piano and Strings Competition (USA); 1st Prize in the International Gloria Artis Music Competition (Austria); Absolute 1st Prize in the Danubia Talents International Music Competition (Hungary); 1st Prize and Grand Prix for Most Exceptional Performer in the Baroque Music Competition (USA); and many others.
